What is an automatic watch

If left unworn for more than 42 hours, it will stop, but it will start again as soon as you put it back on or gently wind the crown.

This movement, inspired by traditional watchmaking craftsmanship, is more intricate and sophisticated than a standard quartz (battery-powered) mechanism.
